WEATHER FORECAST
Moderate north-westerly winds becoming strong at times about Cook Strait with a few local gales probable after about twenty-four hours; weather cloudy in and west of the ranges, with scattered rain developing tomorrow. Fair to fine in the east with moderate temperatures. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 17 points of rain were registered at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today.
