LORRIES WANTED
APPEAL BY THE ARMY. Several offers of lorries for loan to the Defence Department have been received at the Masterton Defence Office, in response to the army’s appeal. Several hundred lorries are wanted urgently and anyone who has a half-ton to two-ton lorry available is asked to communicate with the nearest Defence Office at once. It is essential that the lorries should be in good order.
