WAIRARAPA SHOW
MANY OUTSIDE BREEDERS COMPETING. NEXT WEEK’S ATTRACTION. Breeders from outside the Wairarapa district are competing in many sections at the Wairarapa Show to be held at Carterton on Wednesday and Thursday, October 30 and 31. Competition throughout the sheep sections is keen in all classes particularly in Romneys. Southdowns and fat lambs and the judges in these sections will have classes of over 25 entries from which to pick the winners. Jumping competitions for horses and ponies have filled well. The dog (rials will create the usual interest, entries being up to standard. The Night Show on Wednesday promises to be as successful as ever, particularly amongst the younger folk.
