LABOUR DAY

MASTERTON POST OFFICE ARRANGEMENTS.

On Labour Day. Monday next, the Masterton Post Office will be closed in all branches and no mails will be despatched. Postmen's deliveries will be suspended but the Castlepoint and Te Wharau rural mail and private bag services will be performed as usual (closing at 8 p.m. on Saturday. October 26). The Homewood and Stronvar private bag services will be performed on Tuesday. October 29. The Telegraph office will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 nm. and 7to 8 p.m. The Telephone Exchange will bo open continuously.

A counter delivery of all correspondence (including registered) will be made between 7 and 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 26.
