DANCE AT OPAKI
AN OUTSTANDING SUCCESS. A dance held in Mr Cooper's Barn at Opaki last night was an outstanding success. The building was filled with patrons from Masterton and the surrounding districts and the floor was in good order. Monte Carlo waltz competitions were won by Miss Benson and Mr A. MaeKay and Miss M. Walker and Mr N. Evans. The music was supplied by Mr Jack Barnes's Orchestra, and extras were played by Miss Mavis Cooper and Messrs H. Cooper and J. Martin. The duties of M.C. were carried out in a capable manner by Mr W. Cooper. The next dance will be held in the barn on Saturday. November 2.
