SOUTH FEATHERSTON
EUCHRE PARTY & DANCE ENJOYABLE GATHERING. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance at the euchre party and dance held in the. South Featherston Hall. The euchre prizes were won as follows: Ladies, Mrs Fairbrother 1, Mrs R. Jepsen 2. Men: Mr Ashworth 1, Mr Rae 2. The Monte Carlo Waltzes were won by L. Benton and partner and Mrs Kinsey and Mrs Mellish. The music was supplied by Mrs S. Burt and extras were played by Miss Fraser, Mr Thorne and Mi' Barnard (piano-ac-cordion). Mr H. Graham carried out the duties of M.C. SCHOOL ASSOCIATION MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Home and School Association was held in the South Featherston Hall recently, when Mrs Clark presided over a good attendance of members. The marmalade competition resulted: Mrs Thompson 1, Mrs A. Gain 2, Mrs Sorensen 3. A "bring and buy” stall to raise funds for the school produced £1 4s 7d. The hostesses were Mesdames D. W.
