BOWLING

MASTERTON CLUB. LABOUR DAY TOURNAMENT. (Notes by “The Bowler.”) For many years past the Masterton Bowling Club has held a most successful and enjoyable tournament on Labour Day. On Monday next, commencing at 9.30 a.m.. a similar tourney will be conducted, and as it is an open one entries will be gladly accepted from all bowlers, irrespective of the club to which they belong. The committee will be pleased if those desirous of competing will make their entries as early as possible. Names can be put up on the board in the pavilion, or handed in to the club’s secretary, Mr W. Vowell.
