OBITUARY .WELL-KNOWN MAORI RESIDENT. (“Times-Age” Special.) The death occurred yesterday at Te Ore Ore of Mr Akuhata Tutohengarangi, at the age of 95 years. The late Mr Tutohengarangi was born.at Te Ore Ore and had resided there all his life. He was a member of the Hamua tribe. He was well known among Europeans as Mr August. In’his younger days he was a member of the volunteer mount-, ed rifles. About 17 years ago he had the misfortune to break a leg and ever since had been confined to his bed. His vzife died 22 years ago and he is survived by.children of the fifth generation.
The funeral Will take place on Monday, leaving the late residence, Te Ore Ore, following a service to be held at 2 p.m. for the Ruamahanga Cemetery.
