THREE GERMAN LINERS
SOLD TO ARGENTINE FIRM. WILL BE SUNK IF FOUND AT SEA. (By Telegraph— Press Association—Copyright) BUENOS AIRES, October 17. The German liners Lahn, Anatolia and Nienberg have been sold to an Argentine company for the equivalent of 1.400,000 dollars on condition that they are not used during the war. A British spokesman said the ships would be liable to be sunk if they ventured outside neutral territorial waters.
