CONTRAST COLLECTION
DISPLAY TO BE OPENED THIS EVENING. EXHIBITION IN MASTERTON. Much interest is being taken in Masterton and district in the opening this evening in the Municipal Hall of the contrast collection of sixty facsimile framed reproductions in colour of old masters and modern pictures by famous- artists. The display will be opened at 8 o’clock by the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, and Mi- A. D. Carbery, of Wellington, who will be in Masterton during the weekend, will also be in attendance and will explain points relating to the exhibition. He will speak again on Saturday evening and on Sunday afternoon. The exhibition will be open afternoons and evenings throughout next week.
