CAR ON FIRE

SERVICE STATION INCIDENT. A motor-car when having its petrol lank filled at Wagg’s Service Station last evening caught alight, but fortunately the fire was extinguished before any damage was done. The Masterton Fire Brigade was called at 7.29 p.m.. but on arrival it, was found that the fire had been put out by the service station attendant by means of an extinguisher. The car had been pushed into Worksop Road. The car was owned by Mr P. Carroll. and was not covered by insurance.
