♦ BOOTLEG BAKERS FIGHT POLICE IN ITALY. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NAPLES. October 16. Bootleg bakers illicitly producing white bread fought a revolver battle with the police. One broad runner was wounded. The police arrested 20 bootleggers in an effort to stamp out the racket.
