Cricket Association’s fixtures for the ; first round of the senior and junior ; competitions:— Seniors. October 26-Ncvember 2: Lansdowne v. Red Star, at the Park; Old Boys v. : College, at the College. ■ . November 9-16: Lansdowne v. Old . Boys, at the Park; Red Star v. College, at the College. November 23-30: Red Star v. Old Boys, at the Park; College v. Lansdowne, at the College. Juniors. October 26: Stars B v. College, at the College; Old Boys v. Star A, at the Park; Martinborough a bye. November 2: Martinborough v. Stars B, at the Park; College v. Old Boys, at the College; Stars A a bye. November 9: Stars A v. Martinborough, at Martinborough; Star B v. College, at the College; Old Boys a bye. November 16: Old Boys v. Star A, at the Park; College v. Martinborough, at the College; Star B a bye. November 23: Star A v. Star B, at the Park; Old Boys v. Martinborough, at Martinborough; College a bye. MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. APPOINTMENTS OF SELECTORS. At a meeting of the Wairarapa Cricket Association’s managament committee on the motion of Mr G. V. Greer, seconded by Mr G. Barr, it was decided to write to the Wellington Cricket Association, stating that the Wairarapa Association was in favour of holding the annual conference between the minor associations and the Wellington Association, and also that the association favoured holding the Town v. Country game as usual at Wellington some time before Christmas. The following were elected to subcommittees:— Postponement, Messrs E. S. Smith. G. Barr. G. B. Peterson; fixture, Messrs G. V. Greer, and G. B. Peterson. Mr G. Barr was elected senior representative selector and Mr P. Prescott junior selector. The resignation of Mr G. B. Peterson as treasurer was accepted, and on the motion of Mr G. B. Peterson, seconded by Mr G. Barr, Mr A. L. Patterson was elected to the position. It was decided that the Odd Fellows' Cricket Club be asked to advise of any unfinancial members before the star, of the season. It was decided that the North-South cup be brought into use and replace the Darvill-Illingsworth Shield (which has been lost). Mr G. V. Greer moved, and Mr W. Whiteman seconded that the association supply a miniature cup to the best ■ senior fieldsman, the selector to be the judge. The motion was carried. It was decided to invite the South-] ern Hawke's Bay Association to visit Masterton on November 23 and 25. and Hawke's Bay on December 26 and 27; also to advise the Bush Association that a junior team would be available to visit Bush on November 25. with the suggestion that a return game be play- ] cd at Masterton during the Christmas holidays. On the motion of Mr G. Barr, seconded by Mi' W. Whiteman, it was decided that a letter of appreciation be sent to Mr J. Renner, thanking him for his efforts in obtaining donations to the ' association's funds last season. 1
