MAURICEVILLE

CROQUET CLUB COMPETITION WINNERS. ("Times-Age” Special.) The Mauriceville Croquet Club opened the season yesterday. There was a good attendance, including a number of visitors. Mrs J. Milner declared the season open, expressing her pleasure at seeing so many present. The competitions were won as follow: —Clock croquet, Mrs H. Myers; Monte Carlo, Mrs A. McGovern; hoop. Miss J. McGovern: angles, Mrs Palmer: hurry scurry, Mesdames McEwen and Duncan. Afternoon ,tea was provided. The silver cup the club had won last season had pride of place on the table.
