FEATHERSTON

WATER SUPPLY THIRTY-FOURTH ANNIVERSARY. (“Times-Age” Special.) Today is the 34th anniversary of the inauguration of Featherston’s high pressure watex- supply. The water was turned on by the late Mrs J. W. Card on October 16, 1906. MASONIC LODGE ST. JOHN'S INSTALLATION. On Monday night there was a large attendance of Grand Lodge officers and visiting brethren present when Bro. F. S. Hayes was installed W.M. of St. John’s lodge. Bro. F. White was invested as Senior Warden, and Bro. R. F. Watson as Juniox- Warden. The Provincial Grand Mastex- conducted the installation ceremony. Lady Galway Guild. Foux- boxes of clothing were forwarded to the Lady Galway Guild, Wellington, including articles from the Western Lake, Tauherenikau and Lake Ferry. Personal. Mr G. Harkness’ has returned home from a trip to Hanmer Springs.
