SERVICE OF PRAYER

OPERA HOUSE THIS AFTERNOON. A GOOD ATTENDANCE. A combined service of Intercession was held in the Opera House, Masterton. this afternoon. There was a good attendance. Archdeacon Rich occupied the chair ,and gave an address on "The Peace Terms of Evil.” The Rev. IT. S. Kings spoke on “The Strength of a Nation in War Time.” Major Mahaffie and the Rev. H. Tacpa read the scriptures. The prayers were led by the Revs. Muir and V. W. Joblin. Mr Miller Hope was pianiste.
