CONTRAST COLLECTION
EXHIBITION OF PICTURES IN MASTERTON. OPENING ON FRIDAY NIGHT. The contrast collection of sixty facsimile framed reproductions in colour of old masters and modern pictures by famous artists will be on display in Masterton for over a week, commencing on Friday evening. The exhibition, which will be held in the Municipal Hall, will be- opened on Friday night at 8 o’clock by the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan. Mr A. D. Carbery, of Wellington, will be in attendance and will explain points relating to the collection on the opening night and again on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. The exhibition ’will remain open afternoon and evening throughout next week. There is no charge for admission. Mr S. B. Maclennan, art master at Wairarapa College, is assisting with the work of arranging the display.,
