MAURICEVILLE
TENNIS CLUB ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual meeting of the Mauriceville Tennis Club was held in the Mauriceville Hall last night. Mrs C. M. Childs presided over a good attendance of members. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mrs C. M. Childs; secretary, Mr P. Condon; committee, Miss J. McGovern, Messrs H. Milner, A. Wilkin, A. McArley, W. Myers; club captain, Mr H. Milner. The opening date was fixed for November 3. It was decided to hold a working bee at the courts next Sunday and the attendance of all members was requested. Personal. Mrs J. Baine, Mauriceville, is spending a few days in Wellington.
