ORCHESTRAL CONCERT
OPERA HOUSE TOMORROW NIGHT.
A concert is' to be presented in the Opera House tomorrow night by the Masterton Orchestra. This body of musicians deserve all possible support for their efforts to keep the musical flag flying in Masterton. They are in particularly good form just now, and the programme they are to submit is one that will be sure to make a strong appeal to their patrons. Among the highlights are the stirring “Hyde Park” suite and a glorious selection from the great “Faust” opera by Berlioz. Numerous other items of particular interest are to be included —too numerous, in fact, to be mentioned here; but everyone is worthy of inclusion. Further, to increase the interest of the forthcoming concert, the audience will hear Mr R. G. Gilbert in vocal solos and a quartette of men’s voices will provide a pleasing novelty. The booking office is at the Arts and Crafts. There is no charge for booking.
