The class is up to a high standard. Among the acceptors for the open handicaps are Yogi (the ruling present favourite for the New Zealand Cup), Trench Law, Serenata, Duncannon, Nigger Boy, Enrich, Bron wen, Vascones and White Rajah, with important engagements ahead in the following month, and there is also always the prospect of something above ordinary grade emerging again from the juvenile and maiden contests. Punters will be well advised to study Masterton form for meetings in the immediate future.
