IRON GUARD OUTRAGE
HUNDREDS OF SHOTS FIRED INTO HOME OF BRITISH OFFICIALS. AUTHORITIES REFUSE TO INTERVENE. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) BUCHAREST, October 13. Members of the Iron Guard from a neighbouring house fired hundreds of revolver shots into the garden of a villa rented, by the British Air Attache, Lord Forbes, and the legation secretary, Mr John Reed. Bullets showered on the walls and shattered windows, but nobody was hurt. The authorities refused to intervene, explaining that the Irdn Guards were firing on “the garden of suspects.”
