George, at Opaki) and Nuna, who was at good odds. Nuna jumped out smartly from No 1. followed by Pay Roll, who drew No 2, Miss Baffles. Prince Plato, and Minko. Nuna, Pay Roll and Miss Baffles were almost abreast in front entering the straight, from Prince Plato, Panoni, and Borak. Pay Roll held a slight advantage at the distance, but Nuna came again, and the judge was unable to separate them as they crossed the line. Prince Plato, at long odds was half a length away third, and Minko was four, followed by Bright Lady and Borak.
