WAIRARAPA CYCLING CLUB

WIND UP OF SEASON. A SUCCESSFUL DANCE. The Masonic Hall. Masterton. was packed on Saturday night when the members of the Wairarapa Cycling Club held their wind-up of the season dance. The function proved an outstanding success, visitors being present from all parts of the district. The floor was in excellent order. The music was supplied by Mr Jack Barnes’s Rhythm Boys, extras beingplayed by Mr Keith Woollett. The success of the dance was due in no small measure to the work of the M.C., Mr W. palmer. Monte Carlo waltz competitions were won bv Miss Nella Lahore and Mr P. Miles and Miss J. Kay and Mr J. Adams.

Supper was served by an energetic band of workers. The joint secretaries, Messrs C. A. Greenwood and K. Woollett, carried out their duties in a manner which reflected the greatest credit upon them.
