The British United Press Association’s correspondent in Bucharest states that between four and five train-loads of German motorised forces and air force units have arrived in Rumania during the past twenty-four hours, following upon a Rumanian official claim to possess positive proof that British oil men were engaged in plots to sabotage the oilfields. , Government officials in Berlin have denied that troops have entered Rumania, but the Rumanian Legation in Berlin confirmed that German troops have entered Rumania, in accordance with an agreement for training and reorganising the Rumanian army with all the equipment essential for modern warfare. A number of Italian troops are also going to Rumania. Well-in-formed circles in Bucharest state that additional German units are due to arrive today and tomorrow by air.
