MANUNUI MURDER
ACCUSED MAN REMANDED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, October 7. Appearing on remand in the Magistrates’ Court, Charles Harold Longley, aged 39, was charged that on September 22 at Manunui, near Taumarunui, he murdered Jeremiah O’Sullivan. Detective-Sergeant Nalder said accused had been previously remanded to appear at Taumarunui today, but his legal advisers had requested that he should be remanded at Auckland for another week, after which arrangements would be made for his remand to Taumarunui. Accused was remanded till October 14,
