MEDICAL BOARD SITTING IN MASTERTON. EXAMINATION OF MEN DRAWN IN BALLOT. Sittings of the Medical Board will be held in Masterton this week and next week to examine men drawn by ballot for service with the Territorials. This week sittings of the board will be held tomorrow and on Thursday and Friday, commencing at 10 a.m. each day. The first sitting next week will be on Tuesday. APPEALS LODGED. ABOUT FORTY RECEIVED SO FAR. So far about forty applications for appeal for exemption from service have been received from the Wairarapa area, which extends from Pahiatua southwards. These appeals will be heard bj’ the district Man Power Committee.
