Accounts amounting to 15s were passed. • The president was appointed to represent the branch at the Labour Day conference of the party to be held in Wellington. It was decided that the branch be represented at the initial meeting in Masterton on Friday night. Lengthy' consideration was given to the draft constitution of the party. Patriotic Ball. The Eketahuna Borough Ladies' Fighting Forces Committee is holding a ball in the Eketahuna Public Hall on Wednesday next, the proceeds oi which will be in aid of securing comforts for men of the fighting services. Ken Hicks’s Orchestra has been engaged and a real night of enjoyment is in store for all who attend.
