DEVELOPMENT IN ALASKA. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, October 2. The War Department has ordered an initial unit of 29 warplanes and 2.400 additional men to proceed to duty at a new 12,000,000-dollar air base and anchorage in Alaska.
