PATRIOTIC CONCERT

OPERA HOUSE ON MONDAY. AKURA MAORI ENTERTAINERS. At their entertainment at the Opera House on Monday the Akura Maori Entertainers will be assisted by Mr Cecil Torr in vocal, numbers and Mr Harry Hall who will introduce new humorous songs; Mrs J. R. Dickson will act as accompanist. Many of the items presented by the Maori Party illustrate Maori legends, one in particular portraying the arrival of the first Maori war canoe in New Zealand. Canoe poi dances, action songs-,' hakas and other numbers will make up a splendid programme. Seats may be booked at the shop of Messrs Steel and Bull, Queen Street. There will be no charge for booking.
