WEDDING

HYLAND—LYFORD. A quiet wedding of considerable interest to residents of South Wairarapa was solemnised recently at the Church of Epiphany, Masterton, by the Rev T. V. Pearson, when Clara Letitia, daughter of Mr and Mrs C. Lyford, Featherston, was married to George Hyland, of Tauherenikau. The bride wore a model frock of petrel blue, with hat and accessories to tone, and was attended by her sister, Mrs Duncan, wearing a smart navy and white frock. Relatives and a few intimate friends were afterwards entertained by the bride’s parents at the home of Mrs Duncan, Cole Street, Masterton. The future home of Mr and Mrs Hyland will be at “Totaranui,” Featherston.
