NURSING DIVISION V.A.D. CLASSES. EMERGENCY HOSPITAL UNIT BEING FORMED. A meeting was held last night in connection with the V.A.D. classes conducted by St. John Ambulance Nursing Division. At the request of the Wairarapa Hospital Board an emergency hospital unit is now being formed. 'A dance is being organised to raise funds to equip the unit and this will be held in the Masonic Hall, Masterton, on Thursday, October 17.
