PATRIOTIC CONCERT

OPERA HOUSE ON MONDAY. PROGRAMME BY MAORI ENTERTAINERS. A concert will be given in the Opera House, Masterton, on Monday next, in aid of the Wellington Provincial Pat riotic Fund. The Te Rapu O Akure (Akura entertainers) will present c feast of Maori lore, consisting of poi dances, hakas, action songs, solos; etc This is the company's first appearance and the public can rest assured thathey will be provided with a high class entertainment. A special feature of the concert will be the Maori costumes worn and made by the performers. Mr Harry Hall, as the ' assisting artist, will introduce a number of amusing songs and sketches. The priceof admission are 2s and Is and reserves may be booked at the shop of Messrs Steele and Bull, Queen Street. There is no extra charge for booking.
