LONDON RELIEF FUND
> ADDITIONAL DONATIONS. Additional donations received by the “Times-Age” for the relief of distress in London are as follow: —
The Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, has received donations totalling £1172 19s sd. ST. PATRICK’S PARISH. BIG EFFORT TO ASSIST FUND.
What promises to be a substantial effort on behalf of the London relief fund is being organised by the St. Patrick's parish of Masterton. The function will take the form of a dance in St Patrick’s hall on Tuesday, October 8. Admission has been fixed at 2s 6d and tickets are now being sold. Most of the supper has already been promis-< ed and energetic committees of men and ladies are working to make the effort a big success. Father N. Moore who is taking a personal interest in the London relief movement, on Sunday made eloquent appeals to parishioners to buy tickets for this cause.
