BRITISH CHILDREN
EVACUEE PARTY REACHES WAIRARAPA. Ten British evacuee children arrived in the Wairarapa this morning to take up their residence in the district for the duration of the war. Three are being accommodated in Masterton, four at Carterton, two at Tinui and one in Featherston. The children were in high spirits on their arrival. A large number of people were present at the Masterton railway station to greet the children on their arrival.
