Pearl of Asia Wins at Foxton GAY FOX SALUTES JUDGE KUROW CUP WON BY THE RAKER CLINCH SUCCESSFUL IN POLAND CUP (BY ‘-THE GRAFTER”) At the Foxton Racing Club’s meeting on Saturday the Masterton trained Pearl of Asia won the chief event, the Carnarvon Handicap comfortably from Little Robin, while the Robinson Handicap was accounted for by the favourite Night Eruption. Another Masterton horse, Gay Fox, won the Awahou Handicap. The Poland Cup at the meeting of the Ohinemuri Jockey Club was won by the favourite Clinch, the Pipiroa Hack Cup going to Hunting Bee. The Kurow Cup went to The Raker, while the Munro Handicap resulted in a win for Silver Streak, both these events being decided at -the Kurow Jockey Club’s meeting held at Oamaru on Saturday.
