LITTLE AFFECTED IN BRITAIN BY GERMAN AIR RAIDS MR MORRISON’S TRIBUTE TO WORKERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, September 26. The Minister of Supply (Mr Herbert Morrison), in a speech, said that thanks to the courage and steadfastness of workers, the Luftwaffe's efforts to interrupt the work of arms factories had conspicuously failed. With isolated exceptions, the damage inflicted was vastly less than the enemy must have expected.
