AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND COMMENT ON STAFF TALKS. MADE BY MAJOR-GENERAL DUIGAN. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) MELBOURNE. September 25. Major-General Duigan and Group Captain H. W. L. Saunders, the New Zealand service chiefs today attended a civic reception. “Australia and New Zealand are standing together and they will continue to fight side by side to bring the war to a successful conclusion,” said Major-General Duigan. The military visit for staff talks he said, had achieved something. New Zealand was Australia’s little brother and would do its part.
