MEETING OF MEMBERS. ACTIVITIES FOR MONTH. At the monthly meeting of the Plunket Society there were present: Mesdames J. Caselberg (chair), J. D. O’Connor, S. L. P. Free, D. Donald, W. A. Michael. J. V. Gordon, T. Jordan, J. James, E. G. Norman, C. A. Carmine, R. C. Drummond, T. F. Watson, Sortain Smith and A. 11. Falloon. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Coradine, H. H. Daniell, P. Nathan, lan Bunny, J. C. Broad and N. Irwin. A letter was received from Mrs Cleghorn, of St. Matthew's Collegiate School for Girls, thanking the committee for the services of Nurse Cocker in giving to the girls lectures on the care of babies. The committee expressed thanks for a grant of £25 received from the Macarthy Trust. The treasurer presented accounts amounting to £45 Is 6d which were passed for payment. The nurse reported as follows: — Visits to office: Adults, 352; babies,'342; pre-school, 39; telephone calls, 126; total, 859. Visits to homes: New cases, 38; old cases. 14,3; total. 181. Preschool children seen in homes, 24. New cases for’month: Town, 17; country, 2. Outstations: Tinui sub-branch, Tinui, 1 Homewood, Riversdale, 1 visit each; I Whareama, Langdale, Blairlogie. 2 I visits each; visits to new cases. 5; old |casos, 15. Mauriceville sub-branch Kopuaranga, Mauriceville East. Mauriceville West, 2 visits each; Hastwells, Mangamahoe and Ihuraua, one visit each; visits to homes. 23. Pre-natal section, new cases, 1: return cases, 15; visits to homes, 3.
