TABLE TENNIS
WAIRARAPA v. WELLINGTON. CITY TEAM SELECTED. The following table tennis players have been selected by Mr A. S. Meachen to meet Wairarapa in a representative fixture, at Masterton, next Saturday night:—Men, L. M. Wilson (Kilbirnie), captain, J. S. Mclvor (Shell). G. Rabone (Shell), and F. Mooney; women, Misses A. Knight (Y.M.C.A.), M. Meier (Vogelmorn). V. Albertson (Lerwick), and Joyce Strange (Houghton Valley). The teams will leave by the 3.30 p.m. train for Masterton, returning on Sunday. All members are being billeted out for the Saturday night. Mr L. M. Wilson will act as manager.
