REGISTRATIONS IN CANADA. ALMOST AT MILLION MARK. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) OTTAWA, September 10. The Minister of National War Services. Mr Gardiner, announced that 988,725 single men, aged from 19 to 45 years, had registered for military service, of which 77,983 in the 21-year class would start training in October. Two batches of 30.000 each would be called up before Christmas. The figures did not include 60,000 who had already enlisted for active service.
