DAFFODIL SHOW
SPLENDID COMPETITION LIKELY. The committee of the Masterton Horticultural Society is working energetically to make next Wednesday’s Flower Show an outstanding one in the history of the society. Entries are being attracted from far afield and these will provide splendid competition with the exhibits of local daffodil enthusiasts, whose numbers continue to grow year after year. The already keen demand for schedules is a further promising augury. Schedules are still available and will be forwarded immediately, upon application to the secretary, Mr E. K. Eastwood, telephone 1077.
