AIRCRAFTMAN KILLED
STRUCK BY PROPELLOR. TRAGEDY AT OHAKEA. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., September 11. A tragic accident occurred at Ohakea aerodrome at 6 o’clock tonight resulting in the death of Aircraftman Arthur Jessop, aged 22. The only information to hand is that Aircraftman Jessop walked into the orbit of the moving propellor of a stationary aeroplane and was terribly mutilated by the revolving blades. His father is Mr A. L. Jessop, Rongotea.
