MASTERTON STOCK SALE
RULING RATES REPORTED. There was a poor yarding of fat sheep at the Masterton stock sale today, the quality being rather low. Prices were on a par with ruling rates for the standard offered. There was a fairly large attendance. Quotations are: — Sheep:-- Fats: Wethers, 33s to 345; maiden ewes, 345; hoggets, 235; Corriedale ewes, 23s Bd. Steres: Ewes with lamb at foot, 15s. Pigs: Weaners (good), 345, 25s 6d.
