RAID ON MALTA
SLIGHT DAMAGE TO NAVAL PROPERTY. ' FEW HOUSES DEMOLISHED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) MALTA, September 8. It is officially stated that a strong formation of planes raided Malta at noon today. A number of bombs slightly damaged naval property and demolished a few houses . An enemy plane was shot down and another was probably destroyed.
