RAFFLE FOR PATRIOTIC FUNDS. CLOSING NEXT TUESDAY. It is not often that a chance is offered of securing a valuable residential building section for half-a-crown but this opportunity is presented to the residents of Masterton and district, as a quarter-acre section in College Street is at present being raffled in aid of the Provincial Patriotic Fund. The section, a particularly attractive one, has been donated by Mr W. Nops and will be handed over to the winner free of cost. A notice board has been erected on the section for the convenience of those interested. Those who wish to participate in the raffle have onlv a few days left in which to do so. as the raffe' is closing next Tuesday. Tickets are on sale at most retailers, who have been most helpful in assisting the project. ______
