Mrs J. Bcrney is staying with her daughter, Mrs H. A. R. Dunderdale, Lansdowne. Archdeacon Rich and Mrs Rich have returned to Masterton from a visit to Wellington. Mrs J. M. Cc*adine. Perry Street, Masterton, has been the guest of Mrs A. Bradley, Miramar. Mrs A. C. Tucker, Carterton, is the guest of the Misses Brown, Church Street, Masterton. Airs T. C. H. Miller, Renall Street, Masterton, is staying at Paraparaumu Beach. Miss Pat McCarthy, Invercargill, is the guest of Mrs A. C. Major, Upper Plain. Miss M. M. Watson, of the staff of the Gore High School, has been appointed full-time commercial mistress at Palmerston North Technical College. The marriage took place recently at Kilbirnie of Mr Arthur Douglas Adams, of Seatoun, to Miss Maude Haise, daughter of Mrs Haise and the late Mr H. V. Haise, formerly of Masterton.
