BUTTER MARKETING
TRIBUTE TO DEPARTMENTAL ASSISTANCE. A tribute to the great assistance the Masterton Co-operative Dairy Co had received from Government departments was paid at yesterday’s annual meeting of the company by the chairman of directors, Mr J. C. Ewington. Referring to the marketing of butter, Mr Ewington said the company had received considerable help from the Internal Marketing Division, and from the Dairy Division of the Department of Agriculture, of which Mr Singleton was director. Mr Ewington also referred to the able way in which New Zealand’s exports of butter were being handled, which was no doubt due in considerable measure to the work of Mr Davies and Mr Roden, who controlled the export scheme in London.
