ROAD CYCLING
WAIRARAPA CLUB. HANDICAPS DECLARED. The Wairarapa Amateur Cycling Club will hold a 20-mile event on Saturday to the Gladstone Junction and return via Te Whiti. The following are the handicaps: K. Woollett scr, Norm. Norris 45sec, G. Simpson Imin, J. Heaven 1.15, Neville Norris 2min, B. Peters 2.30. The race will start at 2.15 p.m. from the Orange Hall in Bannister Street, finishing at the same point.
