FIGHTING PLANE FUND

EFFORT BY WOMEN'S DIVISION. The Dominion President of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union, Mrs Noel Adams, of Auckland, is calling upon all branches of the organisation to raise a fund with which to meet the cost of a fighting plane. It is pointed out that donations of five shillings a head by the 22,000 members of the Division would more than provide the sum required. The appeal for contributions is being taken up by the Wairarapa branches.
