LOST PLANE

SALVAGED AT AUCKLAND BODY OF PILOT-OFFICER FOUND. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, September 3. Three fishing boats successfully searched the channel off Narrow Neck today, and salvaged the Tiger Moth aeroplane which crashed with two pilots on Saturday morning. The body of Pilot Officer Goldstone was recovered from the wreckage after it was towed to the Devonport Base. An inquest will be held tomorrow.

The condition of Pilot Officer Victor le Pine, who is still in hospital, is reported as fair.
